Liners for Fecal Incontinence

Liners for Fecal Incontinence

Abri San, manufacturer of the superb Abri Form X-Plus diapers, has introduced a new product: a liner for people who have to poop their diapers. Or who suffer from fecal incontince, as a doctor would put it.

A liner is some kind of oversized napkin that people wear in their underwear or with a pair of specially desgined fixation pants. A liner can hold almost as much as a diaper, but is more discreet to wear and can be changed much easier because it does not have any tapes on the side.

The new liner is called Abri San and has all the features of a normal liner – plus some extra high an strong barriers on each side. These barriers are designed do a better job at withholding.

But will they really prevent leaks? I really doubt that… A well-fitted diaper might be a much safer – and cleaner – solution.

What do you think – would you recommend using this new liner for people who suffer from fecal incontinence?

This is ridiculous! How could they think that that would hold a normal poo? I understand that maybe a tiny bit… but this idea sucks badly…

I wonder how well this would work inside of a diaper? I know its not designed to be used inside of one, but used as a doubler with these ‘fecal barriers’ I think it might work rather well in giving one, extra security for those who choose or have to poop their diapers such as myself. I am eagerly awaiting their arrival in my favourite online store.

For those of us with IBS (like myself), something like this can depend on a lot. I mean for some people who can guage how bad a day they’re going to have from how well they feel might want to try a pad like this if they’re confident they don’t usually have bad voids. I’m not sure I personally would trust it at this point as the embarrassment of the leakage would be too much to handle, and I’ve spend all this time getting used to the full diapers, so it’d be weird to go back.

I have bowel incontinence. Trust me you don’t want it. You not passing normal poo like you would be if you held it and let it go. Think of it as what passes out of your small intestine before your body has a chance to absorb the fluid. Then add oil to it. You you colon is inflamed, like with colitis, your body dumps triglycerides into your system. This adds extra lubrication to the bowel to stop inflammation. So what come out is more like colored salad dressing but in quanity. I wear diapers for this and this stuff isn’t absorbed like pee. The idea of this product is to form a pocket to catch this and it looks like a diffent cover which is neede with bowel. I would be willing to try it becuase just today I had a blow out that ran down my leg out of an abena x plus while walking to my vehicle from a customer. If this was in a light brief it might work real well.

used those while I was hospitalized a few months ago… I would say that tey are OK if you are just lying still in a bed. I myself did only try number one (peeing), and I founded them soft and comfortable…
